What is 3D DTF?
A dimensional transfer with a raised, embroidery-like surface. It is still a heat-applied film transfer — not thread — so you keep full-color art and a flexible hand.
How is it different from regular DTF?
Standard DTF is flat. 3D DTF adds height and texture. Use 3D when the close-up has to sell the piece. Use flat DTF for large coverage, photos, and everyday merch.
What can I press 3D DTF onto?
Cotton, blends, fleece, many poly garments, hats, bags, and jackets. Always test a new fabric. Very slick nylons and waterproof shells need a test hit first.
Does it crack or wash off?
Applied on-spec it stays flexible and wash-ready. Follow the How to Apply chart: time, temp, pressure, peel, and a second press. Wash inside-out cold and skip high heat in the dryer.
Can I use 3D DTF on hats?
Yes — that is one of the reasons it exists. Use a hat press or a quality pillow setup so the raised mark seats into the panels.
What is UV DTF for?
Hard surfaces. Cups, tumblers, glass, metal, plastic, signage. UV DTF is a peel-and-stick crystal transfer. No heat press.
Do you print gang sheets?
Yes. Gang sheets and single transfers are both available. Note the size on the project form or choose the sheet product in the shop.
What file do you want?
PNG or PDF at 300 DPI, actual size, transparent background. Vector (AI, EPS, SVG) is welcome. Tiny type and hairline strokes do not hold a raised edge well — we will flag that on review.
Do you have a minimum?
No hard minimum on most transfer work. Sample packs are the cheapest way to feel the process before a drop. Wholesale pricing starts once volume is consistent — ask on the form.
How fast can you turn it?
Standard is 2–4 business days in the lab after art is approved, then shipping. Rush is quoted when the queue allows.
Can I return transfers?
Custom prints are made to your file, so they are not returnable. If we printed the wrong file, size, or process, we reprint. See Reprint & Returns.
Do you decorate garments for me?
The lab ships transfers and graphics. You (or your shop) press and finish. Ask if you need a partner shop referral.
